Paul Lomax explains the many and varied problems with the way traffic counts are done and the information councils put out trying to show LTNs successfully cause wide scale traffic evaporation.
While residents continue to experience increases in traffic, congestion & pollution on sacrificial roads that take traffic re-routed from LTNs, the councils implementing these traffic measures publish figures that deny reality.
